A great evening of music and song enjoyed by a large and varied audience. The orchestra rose to the challenge of Beehoven's Fifth - a piece their conductor John Modelski had been keen to perform for some time. Other pieces included a James Bond Medley and Pirates of the Carribean - a favourite peice of the orchestra. The audience was treated to a performance by the Sunlight Quartet and some very seasonal songs from the Deeside Singers. Once again, refreshments were provided by the Tea Team from West Kirby URC, to whom WCO send their grateful thanks.
Members of the orchestra braved the cold weather in early december to provide music for the shoppers in Liverpool One. A total of £189.24 was collected for the Roy Castle Lund Cancer Foundation. Many thanks to all who took part in this worthy fund raising event.
